Valve has announced that it will make CS:GO available to everyone free of charge during the ESWC world finals.
Valve has been working closely with the community and with the ESWC organisers to fine-tune CS:GO as much as possible before the event and will even send its own delegation to Paris to enquire the players about the state of the game.
The ESWC will be the first major international event using CS:GO, and to celebrate this milestone, Valve is making the game free of charge between Thursday at 18:00 and Sunday at 21:00 .
Earlier in the week, Valve released an update which finally introduced the much-anticipated spectator client called GO TV.
The CS:GO tournament will also be broadcast via stream in English, French and German, with the ESL's Joe Miller on board to cast the matches.
HLTV.org will be on site to cover the ESWC finals, so stay tuned to our website for all the info on this event.
